While unlikely to get one soon, the iPhone 3G is looking very tempting! Due on the 11 July, it will be cheaper than the original and have 3G capabilities. This makes it much more usable that the original. It will also be thinner and open to 3rd party applications, The Gmail support is
The iPhone isn't perfect, it has a maximum capacity of 16GB, which is only about half my 30GB classic! There is also no cut and paste or Multimedia Messaging (MMS) both features I would rarely use!

Great write up. The iPhone is truly amazing and I don’t like being without it. This time last year I had jumped in a pool with my iPhone and it was dead. I had to wait 10 days before I was able to purchasea new one. The phone I had was a cheap go phone. I really love all the games that can be downloaded to the iPhone. The best part about the iPhone to me is the ability to check emails on the go. Thanks for the information.
